Writer’s CONduit Policies
Writer’s CONduit was created to support writers with information and encouragement through Twitch and Discord. We aim to give writers a safe and welcome environment to ask questions, gain knowledge, network with other writers, and have fun making friends.
With all of that in mind, here is our Policy and Code of Conduct:

Thank you very much for coming to share information with other writers and creative people. We understand that life happens and would appreciate advance notice in the event that you will not be able to host, lead, participate, speak, or volunteer.
Anti-Harassment, Anti-Intimidation, Anti-Discrimination Policy
All Participants
Writer’s CONduit wants to keep this area a safe and welcoming environment for everyone. Please remember that boundaries and comfort levels vary from person to person (country to country even) and when a person tells you to stop, listen to them.
Unwanted behavior is defined as any behavior that creates a hostile environment for the person(s) being targeted, as defined by that person(s). This can be, but is not limited to, any behavior that targets: race, age, sex, gender, gender identity, national origin, ancestry, disability, medical condition, religion, sexual orientation, veteran status, marital/domestic partnership status, citizenship, and anything of the like.

the terms of service can be read here https://discord.com/terms and they include not allowing defamation, libel, ridicule, mocking, stalking, threatening, harassing, intimidation or abuse of anyone.
In addition to the terms of services and community rules of the above services in use, the Writer’s CONduit planning committee agrees that harassment, intimidation, and discrimination is not allowed here.
Writer’s CONduit staff do not have the right to harass anyone; at the same time, no one has the right to harass the staff members of Writer’s CONduit.
If you see harassment occurring, even if you are not the targeted party, please let a staff member know in the #helpdesk Discord channel.
It is a person’s right to make their own boundaries clear and for their boundaries to be respected. Harassment will not be tolerated and harassers may find themselves banned from future Writer’s CONduit activities.
The Writer’s CONduit planning committee reserves the right to update this agreement when needed.
